Film heat exchangers BUCO are used to cool water to a temperature close to zero without the risk of freezing 0.5 C, at an incoming temperature of +35 C. Heat exchangers consume a small amount of refrigerant used. Film heat exchangers are optimal when a continuous supply of ice water is required.
